1. About Lucy Jobs
Lucy Jobs ("we", "us", "our") operates a graduate job marketplace that connects job seekers with employers in Ethiopia. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to register. Graduates must provide accurate profile and CV information. Employers must submit valid company and licensing details where required. We may suspend accounts that provide false or misleading information.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@lucyjobs.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
We offer sign-in via email, Google OAuth, and Telegram where enabled. Each method is subject to the respective provider's terms in addition to ours.
4. Graduate profiles & CV review
Graduate CVs may be reviewed by our admin team before profiles become visible to employers. Approval is at our discretion. We do not guarantee employment, interviews, or responses from employers.
5. Employer subscriptions
Employer features may require a paid subscription. Fees, billing cycles, and payment instructions are shown in the employer portal. Subscriptions are activated after payment verification. Refunds are handled case-by-case unless otherwise stated at purchase.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, discriminatory, or unlawful job listings or profiles
- Scrape, harvest, or resell user data from the platform
- Attempt to bypass access controls or subscription limits
- Harass, spam, or misuse contact details obtained through the service
7. Intellectual property
The Lucy Jobs brand, software, and site content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g. CVs, company logos) but grant us a licence to host, display, and process it to operate the service.
8. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, hiring decisions made by employers, or actions of other users.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account by contacting support. Provisions that should survive termination (e.g. liability limits) will remain in effect.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
